There’s been huge leaps in gender equality over the past few decades and our International Women’s Day guest speaker, Monica Lewinsky, knows this more than many. Had the events that shaped her life so significantly in the late 1990s have taken place today, the reaction – and fallout – would likely have been very different.

The expectations and consequences for women who speak up and challenge power are different today than the 1990s, with attitudes changing. There’s a growing tide of women speaking up, speaking out, supporting each other and shaping our conversations around gender equality – both in the workplace and in broader society.

Accenture knows that creating an inclusive organisation for women – for ourselves, for our clients, and for our broader society – needs to come from the top. As well as a talk by Monica, our International Women’s Day event also will include Accenture ANZ CEO, Pete Burns, and our Gender Lead, Matt Coates sharing their thoughts on the importance of gender equality and inclusive workplaces.

This year’s event will be hosted in our Virtual Show Floor - a 360-degree interactive space, providing an unparalleled virtual event experience where you can connect with Accenture Leadership and network with other attendees.

We’d love for you to join us.
