Promotions are handed out based on performance when it comes to performance review times of the year. These can come quite early, < 1 year into graduate employment, with enough hard work and involvement in your team. It's good to be involved in some social aspects, particularly in your team and it's a good idea to volunteer yourself for presentations for the client or internally as well.

For me to get promoted I must be even more involved in my project, doing more configuration and build in Salesforce, getting even more certificates, and doing outside projects/side work within the company.

It outlines the responsibilities for each level within the company, so you are measured against that, but it also depends on your manager's view and your client's view of your work, so it can be a bit abstract and subjective.

From conversations I have had with senior managers, they have all informed me that if you put in the time and effort and understand the work you are doing, you will always have opportunities to progress.

I believe my hard work will be recognized. I don't see any obstacles in promotion provided I work hard and achieve my targets.

Moving up the ranks appears to depend on time more than it does proving yourself to the higher roles. This provides less motivation to perform higher than my wage.

Promotions happen when you work hard consistently and do what is required of you. if you are unsure of what you're doing reach out to your team for assistance. it is ok to be wrong or stuck, but always ask for help.

Promotions are biannual, and occur from a mixture of project, client-facing work and also contributions to any of Accenture's many social groups.

Being promoted is heavily based on your relationship with your mentor, they are the ones who take your achievements and put you forward for promotions or bonuses. Which is great if you have a good relationship with them and are not good at talking yourself up in meetings with leadership. But it can be tricky if you do not have such a great relationship with your mentor.

Career paths are very open and it's kind of a choose your own and get yourself certified and then work your way up to being a lead on projects and so on

You will be promoted quicker if you end up with a more involved manager (which is dependent on which project you get allocated), also if you have connections.

Promotions are common albeit limited to twice yearly (common practice) and the entire process is rather time consuming and political.

Not sure, but promotions tend to be very tight so some times it can take people much longer than others to progress.

Career progression seems to be very dependent on your role in a project and the value you bring. I know graduates who have been at the company for a year and a half who have not yet been promoted/received pay increases. Contrastingly, there are the exceptional few who are streamlined in promotions and make their way to the top very quickly.
