Diversity at Accenture Australia and New Zealand

8.7
8.7 rating for Diversity, based on 46 reviews
Please provide further information on diversity with respect to women, ethnic minorities and LGBT. Please comment on issues such as recruitment, retention, promotion, child care, maternity leave, etc.
There has been quite a push to recruit and accommodate/support people from diverse backgrounds both within the LGBTQIA+ community and people with disabilities. Facilities are available for non-binary individuals and there is an active push to even the playing field for all employees with respect to work opportunities and work/life balance.

I think Accenture is good at providing many different groups and events for women, ethic minorities and LGBT. As a woman, Accenture made me feel empowered when applying and attending their assessment day. I have enjoyed attending the TA women's network

Average to below average performance. Lots of talk e.g. events on diversity but not many company policies that actually support. They can e.g. get more leadership from diverse backgrounds, flexible leave policies (not everyone cares about e.g. Christmas or Aus Day), count parental leave towards time at level etc.

I have come to Accenture from non tech background having 5 years of full time mum experience previously. I fell confident and supported in Accenture. I can see how minorities are supported in Accenture already, just being less than a month in the company. I have joined a women in tech community and attend events to promote my confidence.
