What we’re looking for :

  • Completed, or about to complete, a degree in Chemical Engineering or Metallurgy

The Role 

  • For depth of learning, you will have varied placements which will include daily operational support within the Engineering team with exposure to Quality, Environmental, Sales & Marketing, Health Safety & Sustainability aspects of the business.
  • In the first year of the program, you will work in conjunction with Adbri’s experienced engineers and operational leaders on our large Cement & Lime sites across Western Australia working with large industrial manufacturing equipment, including kilns and mills – giving you exposure to heavy machinery, plant equipment and processes.
  • There will be an opportunity to be part of the team commissioning a new, state of the art cement milling facility with exposure to automation technology and artificial intelligence.
  • In the second year you will be empowered to lead chemical engineering projects with the support of the business and technical experts in areas such as plant upgrades focusing on efficiency, improving plant safety and environmental.
