What we’re looking for :

  • Completed or about to complete a tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Project Engineering, or related field.  
  • Resilience, maturity, and a sense of accountability
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing time priorities successfully.
  • A positive, inquisitive nature with the drive to exceed expectations.

The Role 

  • Throughout the program, you will work collaboratively with Adbri’s experienced engineers and operational leaders within the business, to develop essential knowledge and skills relevant to concrete and quarries operations.
  • You will gain a unique experience supporting in our large quarries and concrete operations on meaningful and scaled projects.
  • Based in our Concrete Operations and working closely with internal and external stakeholders you will work on Plant Upgrades, and plant system upgrades.
  • Working within the laboratories to understand and review the product mix designs, new low-carbon cement and field testing.
  • Within Quarries this will focus on our operational infrastructure move and involve dealing with the regulators, independent consultants, and the community.
  • Having a passionate safety mindset will allow you to exceed with different reviews of safety and environment projects.
  • As part of our commitment to a greener future, you will support our Net Zero roadmap through projects designed to reduce concrete waste, diesel, power and water reuse across our quarries in SA.
  • Over the 2-year program and beyond, you will have exposure to our national Concrete Aggregates and Masonry business across the company divisions such as Sales, Investigations, Safety, Sustainability, and Corporate Teams.
