Your role:

As a Training Systems Officer, you will be responsible for the education, training and development of Navy personnel to ensure that they are qualified and job ready. You will design, develop and manage adult education and vocational training systems and solutions across Navy. 

If you’re already studying or ready to study a job-relevant degree at your choice of accredited university, you can join the Navy and have your fees paid for. You’ll earn a salary while you complete your degree and walk straight into a Navy role following graduation.  

Your duties include, but aren’t limited to: 

  • Developing, designing and evaluating training solutions and workplace assessment processes
  • Training management and governance
  • Facilitating the training and development of instructors across the Navy
  • Identifying individual competency needs
  • Administrating training and assessment systems
  • Providing advice on education and training policy

Salary: 

When you first join the Navy and while studying for your degree at the university of your choice, you will be paid between $35,326 and $54,166 depending on your year of study.

Upon completion of your degree, initial military and employment training, you’ll enjoy a salary package starting from $90,629.

For this role, you must be over 17 at time of enlistment, an Australian Citizen and be able to provide evidence that you are enrolled in or studying a Bachelor’s degree in either Adult Learning, Vocational Education and Training, Training and Development or Secondary Education.
