Most of my work is technical structural design which I prefer. I am learning on a daily basis. I just want to be working on a project I am passionate about. I tried to get involved in a bigger project, but it got denied because I was more needed in the office. So, I am hoping next year I can get a hold of something cool!

I am a transport planner, my role, which varies depending on work, is currently focused on data analysis and producing GIS outputs to support interventions we are proposing. I also work on reports that summarise these findings. I work on getting reports started for pieces of work, and review and respond to client comments.

day to day I mostly work in commercials and financials which I enjoy, however it is hard to get someone to take over some of your work so some of my work is not stimulating any more but there doesn't seem to be anyone else to hand it over to.

Water Engineer - Mainly design of water systems/networks etc. lots of CAD and 12d work which has been interesting to learn. Work has been steady but has been periods where work is light which has made some weeks difficult to remain focused and engaged but when the work is there it has been great.

I work both in the field and in the office doing geotechnical investigations and writing geotechnical assessment reports. I do spend more time in the office than in the field, but I am happy with this ratio.
