Good to have ability to network with other grads

Strong culture aided by the young professional committee (Connect).
Graduate, Melbourne - 10 Nov 2023
Culture is good. People seem to be low key and upper management is very approachable. There are plenty of opportunities for socialising with sports club, friday drinks, Connect events, morning teas in every occasion and LOTS and LOTS of food.
Professional Engineer, Auckland - 10 Nov 2023
Generally good, some teams are pretty progressive The R+I team are misogynists
Professional, Brisbane - 09 Nov 2023
There is a culture club which put on different events during and after work. On Friday our team goes out to lunch and we occasionally do social events outside of work.
Professional, Brisbane - 09 Nov 2023
Culture, diversity, and professionalism are why I feel great working at AECOM.
Graduate, Melbourne - 09 Nov 2023
Good company culture with healthy communication between management levels and a comfortable work place for all people. Socializing is perhaps average or just below.
Graduate, Sydney - 09 Nov 2023
There is little hierarchy imbalance, people higher than me in my team treat me with respect and courtesy. Everybody was friendly and welcoming.
Graduate, Perth - 09 Nov 2023
Great culture between graduates/early professionals, usually have events after work such as bars, networking and sport. High prioritization on company culture including monthly drinks to network with other colleagues. Multi-layered hierarchy allows for lots of progression and opportunities for promotion.
Graduate, Sydney - 09 Nov 2023
Good team to work with. Hierarchy doesn't really exist amongst the team.
Graduate, Adelaide - 09 Nov 2023
I would say it's very welcoming and quiet accepting of people's differences.
Graduate, Sydney - 08 Nov 2023
There is a good culture among the early professionals and the Connect group has a lot of events both during work and outside of work. The higher levels have a less active culture and post-covid there has been a big decrease in events, social gatherings and people in the office.
Graduate, Melbourne - 08 Nov 2023
We hot-desk at work and the whole team sits together. There's always banter between teammates and my opinions and suggestions are taken very seriously. I am comfortable enough to tell my team that I don't know something and the people manager will immediately assist me and organize a training for me to gain more knowledge on the same. The senior managers, engineers and group leaders treat me as an equal. There's always time for coffee and someone to share the work load with. The company has great culture and most days I prefer being in the office as its more fun. AECOM also organizes after-work drinks. The staff enjoy socializing both inside and outside of work and we've built meaningful friendships.
Graduate, Brisbane - 08 Nov 2023
Culture is good within the team, seniors are easy to approach and happy to help when they have the time. Socialising outside of work is non-existent with very little team events but get togethers with early professionals within the team are fun.
Graduate, Sydney - 08 Nov 2023
There is a good culture where everyone is valued. There is good diversity across many marginalised communities. Outside of work there are organised social gatherings monthly which tend to have high participation. There are also running/walking groups that many employees voluntarily participate in.
Graduate, Melbourne - 08 Nov 2023
The culture is good at the company, my collogues are very nice and helpful. Its a very high performing environment which can be tough sometimes but its good as you learn a lot. The hierarchy at the company is similar to most companies. I have a main manager that is responsible for all the people in my team and then I have a supervisor that work closer to me each day and is only responsible for my specific area
Graduate, Townsville - 08 Nov 2023
All coworkers are supportive of any of the new joiners. Project Managers keep tracking the budget of a project, then they organise the best schedule for me as well as other workers who are responsible for the project. It's easy to use annual leave and sick leave whenever workers want.
Graduate, Townsville - 08 Nov 2023
Post-covid work environment has not gone back to the way it was. More office presence would improve the culture of the company
Professional, Melbourne - 08 Nov 2023
Strong heirarchy. But approchable management. Great colleagues, friendly, warm and welcoming. Moderate level of socialising.
Graduate, Sydney - 08 Nov 2023
There is a great young professionals community. We eat lunch together most days and often will catchup outside of work. You can be as involved as much or as little as you like.
