Corporate Governance & Sustainability Intern | Sydney – NSW 

  • Work 20 hours a week part-time whilst completing your study
  • 5-month Semester Internship Program to build your corporate skills and experience

Our Corporate Governance & Sustainability Internship Program will provide you with the opportunity to receive a tailored and supportive early career experience. Our Sustainability team covers the areas of Environment, Social and Governance and we are looking for an Intern, to support the delivery of our sustainability strategy across the business. Our ambition is to integrate sustainability into everything that happens at Allianz. This means taking part in tackling climate change, advancing people’s wellbeing and respecting human rights so they can thrive and act responsibly in our business practices. 

To be successful in this role we need analytical thinkers who learn and adapt quickly, have strong interpersonal skills and are able to develop relationships with key stakeholders. 

About you 

  • You are a final year Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, Arts or Science undergraduate student.
  • You have an interest in International Aid, Development, Global Politics, Law, Human Rights or Social Justice.
  • Have a general understanding of Sustainability in a business context.
  • Awareness of ESG impacts and targets, including climate change, human rights (modern slavery), risk and compliance.
  • You will be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during your semester internship.
  • You are an Australian or New Zealand Citizen or hold Australian Permanent Residency at the time of application.
  • You must attach your most up to date University results in the form of an Academic Transcript or university-issued proof of results.
  • You must attach a cover letter outlining your suitability to the role and a resume.
