Your role

At APA, the purpose is simple: to strengthen communities through responsible energy. The APA Graduate Program offers a full-time permanent position with the organisation. Starting with the 2-year program, the 4 x 6-month rotations will be for someone who is passionate about procurement and is a Graduate of Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics or Finance. 

Procurement and Supply Chain at APA is a diverse function, managing approximately $1.8B of spend across six spend categories. One of those categories is Networks Procurement, where they are responsible for strategic category management, strategic sourcing, contract lifecycle management and supplier relationship and management activities for the operations maintenance, development and delivery of capital projects on the gas distribution network.

The Procurement and Supply Chain stream provides a unique opportunity to complete three six-month rotations integral to the area where you will both start and conclude your program journey in the Networks Procurement team, which may include some of the following teams: 

  • Contract lifecycle management 
  • Supplier relationship and management 
  • Strategic sourcing 

You will also have the opportunity to complete a rotation in one of the following areas: 

  • Customer & Business Support Services 
  • Risk, Compliance and Assurance 
  • Capital Delivery, Project Management Office 

About you

Here's what APA Group is looking for in this role:

  • Qualified in a Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics or Finance Degree by the end of 2024, or within the last 2 years. 
  • Located within reasonable travel time to the Adelaide office.  
  • Willingness to continue your learning and be a part of a greater national Graduate team.  
  • Able to demonstrate the APA behaviours: Accountable, Collaborative, Courageous, Impactful & Nimble. 
  • Available to start your full-time career on 3rd March 2025.
