BDO is one of the world’s leading audit, accounting, advisory and consulting firms. We provide a range of services to clients of all sizes and industries across Australia.

Our Indirect Tax team help clients to navigate the complex and wide-ranging area of (Goods and Services Tax) GST and other Indirect Taxes (i.e. stamp duty, land tax), helping them to achieve compliance with laws and regulations, and provide advice to minimise the impact, and avoid any pitfalls for businesses when these taxes apply in different circumstances, for example throughout a business or commercial transaction.

What you’ll do:

As an Indirect Tax Graduate at BDO, you can expect to:

  • Develop technical expertise across a variety of indirect taxes including GST, fuel tax credit, stamp duty, payroll tax and luxury car tax.
  • Learn how to provide advice on cutting-edge indirect tax issues to a prestigious client base.
  • Develop your client management skills by attending meetings and dealing directly with client queries.

What you’ll get:

  • 12-month learning and development program
  • Support and guidance from your buddy and manager
  • Service line-specific learning and development, aligned to clear career pathways
  • Social activities with your Graduate cohort, and the wider firm
  • The little things like free brekkie, healthy snacks and dress for your day
  • A culture of opportunity, connection, community, and impact
  • And global possibilities, we’re in 164 countries!

What you’ll offer:

  • You will be in your final year or have recently completed an Accounting, Economics, Law or other relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree
  • Your ability to commence full-time in January 2025.
