Your role

Provide support to the Group Head of Business Improvement and Analytics to develop reporting, analytics and otherwise support the Data Analytics function as required, focusing on finance reporting, however extending to all functional areas including but not limited to Procurement, Sustainability, Quality, Safety, and Work Winning.

Key responsibilities for the role include:

  • PowerBI reporting 
  • Prepare and present basic reports, analyses, and documents
  • Utilise a variety of standard methodologies and techniques in solving problems
  • Assist more senior staff in analysing information
  • Develop a strong understanding of the business
  • Clarify stakeholder needs and provide professional and timely technical advice

About you

Education and Qualifications required for this role:

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline

Experience, Skills and Behavioural Competencies required for this role:

  • Obtained recent tertiary qualifications 
  • Demonstrated understanding of Engineering principles     
  • Recently completed Civil or Construction Engineering degree
  • Possess excellent verbal and written skills and strong PC skills (Word, Excel, Project, Access)
  • Can work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
  • Determined and have results orientated approach to work
  • Good research and analysis skills with the ability to apply critical thinking
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively 
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships at all levels
  • Able to work autonomously 
  • Be exceptionally organised
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Have a strong client service ethic

Training, development & rotations

The successful candidate will be trained in key systems and functional areas and will gain valuable real-world experience working for the CIMIC Group. Graduates receive structured, on-the-job training, guided learning plans and leadership mentoring. Over the two-year program, you will experience two one-year rotations with placements in various roles, projects or CIMIC Group companies.
