Lots of opportunity for career progression being a large company but am sometimes concerned these options will be limited if not located in Sydney (head office).

Keeping up open communication with your manager who can help in your progression. Also, there are many different programs to join in to help upskill yourself for promotion opportunities.

I think given the variety of teams that we get to rotate into there and that after the program ends you are guaranteed a spot as a permanent means that you have higher chance of promotions but otherwise im not too sure how moving up the ranks work.

There are a lot of teams in HR here. You can either specialise or generalise and be leaders in your own right. You can do either at this company which you can't in others. You will need to network a lot and put your hand up for different opportunities to make your name known. In the HR grad program, there's six rotations so you have lots of opportunities to network and develop your craft.
