Please describe the training programmes at your company and tell us what skills you've picked up.
Some of the training is long and tedious - we are required to read lots of long documents, often using terms that we do not understand since. These documents are also often without context as you read them without being able to see how they apply to your work. Some practical training also occurs as the task needs to be done by your job, meaning that you get rapidly and sporadically trained on things and them sometimes don't do the same thing again for a long time. This lack of repetition and long time between repeating a task can make it hard to remember how to do the tax.

Different types of training. In-person, online and self-paced. Specific off-site training may also be required.

Good network through training. Company specific and life/career training. Immediately given responsibilities to drive learning but support is always there if needed.

So many reading of SOP'S. Very tedious process and so much reading, often which is skipped. Other hands on training I like.

I think more informal training along the way is required. As i am in a project based role and things are quite fast paced this makes it quite difficult but at the same time, being thrown into the deep end with constantly new tasks is difficult as some people do not have any time at all to describe the task to be completed.

There is a lot of technical training that is mostly taught through reading documents, and not a lot of practical training. This compulsory training is generally quite repetitive so can be tedious. In terms of soft skills, employees can use LinkedIn learning and other workshops can be available for career related skills as well.

As a graduate, there is a formal development plan with workshops monthly. We have access to platforms like linkedin learning. Informally, my manager and I have worked on giving me a diverse range of tasks to help my development.
