My impression is that career progression at my company tends to be slow and highly competitive.

Career progression is reasonably clear in terms of moving up through graduate to full-time role and then into senior roles. Not as clear as to how to roll of vac program into a potential grad program.

IGO ensures graduates move between sites to gain exposure and actually help their workers to progress in their careers by assisting with future learning like MBAs and training courses. I don't know much about promotions.
