Your opportunity: Financial Crime

Applications are now open to join our Financial Crime group for the 2025 Graduate Program intake.

With emerging threats and vulnerabilities across all sectors, clients engage our experts across all financial crime disciplines, including anti-money laundering (AML), counter-terrorism financing (CTF), fraud, anti-bribery and corruption, sanctions and modern slavery. 

Working alongside our Financial Crime experts, this is your opportunity to gain valuable experience across risk management, regulatory compliance and investigations. 

What you'll be doing

As a financial crime professional, you will be helping organisations to protect themselves and the community against financial crimes. Typically, this involves, assisting organisations in identifying their financial crime risk and applying risk-based controls having regard to their nature, size and complexity.

  • While your opportunities will be limitless, you can expect to work on a wide variety of projects including, AML/CTF independent reviews, audits, expert opinions and our Compliance Counsel service. Some of the work might include the following:
  • assist with the test phase of an Independent Review
  • conduct research on current issues and trends
  • attend client and internal meetings
  • write engagement letters and proposals
  • develop Financial Crime credentials
  • assist with business and practice development.

About you

You will be a recent graduate or student in your final year of study and will have:

  • a bachelor's degree with strong academic results, preferably in accounting, commerce, law, or criminology.
  • a razor-sharp eye for detail and advanced critical thinking skills.
  • excellent analytical skills, with an ability to think outside the box.
  • a confident personality who enjoys working in a team.
  • eligibility to live and work in Australia (Australian citizens and permanent residents only).
