We do this not just because it is the right thing to do, but because we believe it produces exceptional outcomes for both our team members and the clients we serve.

We believe that when you prioritise the well-being of your team members in an environment where they feel highly valued, supported, and empowered, they are better equipped to provide the best for others.

We are a Not for Profit supporting young people experiencing disadvantage, people living with disability, people living with chronic illness, their families, and carers.  We put people first - because we’re in the people business and have been for more than sixty years.

We believe our unique culture sets us apart from other organisations and attracts the best people. That’s why we offer a Culture Guarantee. This means that if you decide within your first six months that MOIRA isn’t quite the right fit for you, we will pay you up to two weeks of normal pay upon your departure.

This is our way of showing that MOIRA backs itself - and you.

Here’s how we’ll put you first.

  • We’ll work with you to design a working week that suits you. - We focus on people outcomes, not how many hours or days worked.
  • We’ll help you focus on what you do best - being a therapist. - We offer a high level of administrative support to lighten the load.
  • We’ll provide you with a health and well-being program that can help with everything from nutrition, mindset, sleep, and movement to flu vaccinations.
  • We’ll provide numerous opportunities for career development, including a generous annual CPD budget and opportunities to shape caseloads to your passions and interests.
  • We’ll help you grow professionally by providing regular mentoring, clinical support and continuous professional development as part of your working week. We’ll also give you a $1000 annual learning allowance, access to our emerging leader’s programs and to online courses.
  • We’ll provide the tools you need to be effective, connected and work autonomously, including a car, laptop and mobile phone.
  • We’ll offer up to $15,900 living expenses plus $2,650 meal and entertainment allowance per FBT year (untaxed) - to help your pay go further.
  • We’ll provide you with Professional Indemnity Insurance and a 50% reimbursement of your AHPRA registration fees.
  • We’ll help support new parents and advance gender equality by paying super on unpaid parental leave for up to 12 months for those that take primary parental leave.

Here’s what you’ll need.

Our mobile Allied Health service is growing, and we currently need more exceptional Occupational Therapists. Experienced health professionals who can deliver high-quality evidence-informed services to clients within home, community and school-based environments.

Our clients come from all walks of life and so do we.  We encourage applications from workers of all ages, people with disabilities, First Nations people and those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

We’re not looking for superstars or individuals with standout CVs. While your experience, qualifications, and resume are valuable, they are not the most important factors to us.

To us, how well you align with our values is as crucial as your technical qualifications.

From a practical level you’ll need;

  • Qualifications in Occupational Therapy
  • Current AHPRA Registration.
  • Current Australian Driver’s License.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of clinical theory and practice.
  • Demonstrated understanding of person-centred care
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Commitment to providing evidence-based practise
