Please provide further information on diversity with respect to women, ethnic minorities and LGBT. Please comment on issues such as recruitment, retention, promotion, child care, maternity leave, etc.
We have community groups that specialise in creating space for diversity and minority groups. The company provides special events and discussion panels to bring women and other minority groups to the forefront. The graduate program I'm in purposefully is built to promote diversity in the tech industry through hiring career changers and wide range of age groups and people from different backgrounds.

They're trying really hard for diversity and that's very clear in the grad program - there is even a program dedicated to support women who want to get into tech. They also try to recruit from a wide range of backgrounds and experience and provide them with the flexibility to work how they need. However once we leave the grad program and head into real teams, its very dependant on the team you enter. Some teams are very supportive, diverse and flexible and happily accomodate things like family responsibilities or mat leave but other teams aren't great and the tendency to promote men over women is there.

I am a senior aged female migrant of Asian descent. Never have I felt anything but welcomed, and treated as a valuable part of the team.

for our graduate program. We have a specific scholarship for women wanting to get into tech (DevelopHer) - this is specifically aimed at those that identify as women with no tech background). We have clear strategies outlines as part of our GVP. We include the option as part of the application process for people to use pronouns, gender options. We outline our policies on our website for attraction too. Assessment as part of the application process have the option to be tailored for disabilities if needed

For the grad/intern program they actively advertise and recruit candidates from all backgrounds but other then that I don't think the company does much.
Graduate, Melbourne - 16 Mar 2023
The company is not biased against anyone. That is evident by the fact that in my cohort there are members with health issues and in the company there are people from less privileged backgrounds.

They don't only hire people with degrees- they hire career changers and people who have only done an online class, and will then train them up.
Graduate, Melbourne - 06 Mar 2023
Yes, diverse hiring process and focus on personality over technical skill allows for a range of backgrounds to enter the program as long as they have a willingness to learn and dedications to improving.
