Working Hours at National Indigenous Australians Agency (NIAA)

How flexible is your company when it comes to hours?
Seemingly very flexible, but I do feel that the days are very long, and the expectation of 9 to 5 is disproportionate to the actual workload. I get my work done in less time than I am rostered for.

The hours spent at work are reasonable. I would rather start later and leave later to make it a more enjoyable experience, and to reduce tiredness.

I find this workplace extremely flexible. I find I am able to manage my hours and never have any trouble with out of work appointments.

Would like more flexibility - eg. being able to work 3 days a week from home.

The Agency is very flexible which is ideal when I have family commitments with two young children.

My hours are standard for the most part. Our standard day is 7 hours and 36 minutes, which is a bit annoying because it makes timesheets complicated, but other than that it's on par with other jobs at this level. The Agency as a whole is very flexible with when you work your hours, and whether or not you come into the office for it (with the exception of some individual managers).

Work 7.5 hours, could be more flexible especially with wfh

I work from 8:30 till 5. I have flexible hours, so in some ways I would prefer to finish a bit earlier and take a shorter lunch break, but it wouldn't really serve the team to do that. In general, I don't feel like it is a big deal what time I come to work as long as it is reasonable and I make up the time.
