We have regular programs organised by the company who invite external speakers or internal speakers focusing on different subjects such as sustainability, fire engineering and feasibility studies. In my normal day to day activities I have picked up a range of skills typical of other project coordinators in the construction industry.

Informal Training when on site with a PM / Senior PM is where you will pick up quite a lot of understanding on the construction process. Neoscape also offer internal training where different consultants complete a presentation on their discipline which gives us an insight on what they do.

Formal training is gradually getting better, with general seminars throughout the year. Still room to improve. Informal training is not refined and word of mouth per the project phase 'learn as you go' type of training.

Neoscape hosts both formal and informal training sessions on a monthly basis for the team to understand the ongoing trends in the industry as well as a chance to reflect on ourselves and focus on internal development. Some skills I picked up over the months include: Building trust and respect with all stakeholders and making meaningful connections on the project leads to bringing about a positive impact through improved communication and a better outcome for the project as a whole. The Neoscape way is to be responsive and consultive from the earliest opportunity. Always operating with integrity and in a fair and reasonable manner will result in a positive outcome for everyone involved in the project. Keeping the conversation upfront, open, and realistic is the best approach to resolving issues. Here at Neoscape, we are genuine about delivering the best possible results.
