What are your thoughts on pay and bonuses at your company?
It's not the best paid job in the world but for a graduate position I think it is okay.

Overall, the pay is great. Graduates in this program are better paid than those in many other graduate roles out there. I would like to see the yearly pay increases match average inflation (3% p.a), but it's far from a deal breaker, and the 2.5% p.a is better than many receive. There are no bonuses per se, but your leave loading is awarded as a bulk payment in December (as opposed to a loaded additional percentage when you take leave), which makes a welcome addition in the lead up to Christmas/New Year.

As a graduate I started on an AO3 (65,000 which is a decent starting salary). 8 months into the program graduates are allowed to take on higher duties arrangements without having to leave the program. It is an arrangement which allows graduates to progress quickly through the ranks.

Pay is well structured and is very transparent with pay grades

The offered starting salary was on the upper end of most government graduate jobs but the nice thing about this program is that they actively encourage graduate apply for higher duties and secondments. Also, if you manage to find a more permanent position you can leave the program whenever you want.

The salary is very good for graduates. There is a lot of opportunity to secure higher-level work throughout the program. No bonus.

The leave loading is a great benefit for the end of the year. I understand the pay level of an AO3 but I am satisfied at a graduate level of this pay.

Generous pay, with increases each year. Unlike in the private sector there are no huge end of year bonuses.

Pay is competitive. It is the public service so there are no bonuses

As an entry level job it is absolutely great, especially compared to some private sector jobs.

What are your company's best or most unusual perks? For example: free tickets, free dinners, moving expenses, taxis, pension, etc.
The best perk is the superannuation up to 12.75% with a co-contributed 5% (which you can salary sacrifice) is very attractive, and will make a huge difference down the track as a young worker. Another nice perk is a amazing end of trip facilities at 1 William Street. Secure bike/scooter storage, lockers, and showers is a great alternative to the usual commute methods.

No perks at all. I had no assistance relocating from South Australia for the program.

Flexible work arrangements are the most beneficial perk
