I have to complete a certain amount of hours, they are relatively strict in that aspect. However, they are very understanding when it comes to unexpected problems and are flexible if employees request working from home those times. I have not needed to do that very often but I feel i would be supported.

I have a 9 day fortnight contract but I work 10 days at extra pay. On the days I work, I work 8 hours a day which is normal but if it could be less I'd be happy with that. I'd love a future where we move to a 4 day week for the same pay.

The work hours are extremely flexible, the managers allow you to choose your hours to an extent, as long as discussed prior.

Flexible hours where the suggested time is 8:30 to 4:30, but some start at 7:30, whereas others start at 9:00.
With some departments relying on project work, the KPI figures are generally based on your timetable and so it's fairly strict when filling this out.
Other departments are not so strict and use one code to book time to.

Hours are very flexible, as long as you get your work done you can work from home and start in the office at your leisure. Personally I have been willing to put in large weeks as I am looking to soak up as much experience from the Seniors I am working under.
