Your role

P&G's Sales Graduate program offers an exciting opportunity to manage your own multi-million dollar business and budget from day one.  You'll be responsible for leading sales of well-known brands like Gillette, Oral-B, and Olay while collaborating with Australia's biggest grocery retailers.

This program is ideal for candidates with strong analytical skills who are seeking a challenging and rewarding career that fosters both personal and professional growth.

Full-time positions are available for August/September 2024 and February 2025.

The role focuses on developing strong partnerships with retailers and crafting plans that excite shoppers in-store and online.  Success hinges on building collaborative working relationships and a deep understanding of the business.  As part of a dynamic, multi-functional team, you'll be immersed in a fast-paced and ever-changing industry,  holding real business responsibility for iconic consumer brands.  P&G seeks a candidate with the ability to build strong, mutually beneficial relationships with others.

This role reports to P&G’s Sales Execution Manager for Australia & New Zealand. Sales graduate roles are available in Sydney and Melbourne.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing, selling, implementing, and evaluating business plans to meet or exceed financial goals
  • Collaborating with multi-functional teams to develop strategies and plans
  • Managing and improving distribution, pricing, shelving, and merchandising
  • Translate business plans into measurable selling points for the customer
  • Develop productive working relationships with key customer contacts and sell mutually effective business plans
  • Use analytical tools and integrate various data systems to develop new insights
  • Provide input into retailer category strategy

About you

Job Qualifications:

  • Must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or NZ Resident
  • Currently completing the final year of a Bachelor’s degree or recent graduate
  • Have a minimum credit average across your University results
  • Must have an Australian Drivers License
  • Strong leadership experience, i.e. leadership positions in clubs, teams, societies etc.
  • Well-rounded life experience i.e., being involved in & contributing to the community
  • A collaborative team player with a real passion for winning
  • Possess an analytical mind, who can think strategically and foster innovation in all areas of their work
  • Passion for stakeholder management and communication
  • Experience in the FMCG or Retail industry is preferred
