We approach problems with curiosity, challenging the status quo to develop innovative solutions in partnership with Australian businesses and not-for-profits. Together, we strive to make a positive impact and drive meaningful change.

That’s where our people come in. Whether you’re just beginning your career or have plenty of experience, we believe your unique perspective can help us deliver valued insights that make a real impact. Here, you’ll be surrounded by peers with your back and leaders who support you, in an environment that encourages continuous learning and growth.

What is the Vacation Program?

Start building your network and skills that will give you the future you want through the PwC Vacation Program!

If you're in your second last (penultimate) year of graduate or postgraduate studies, this program is designed for you. The program runs over four to eight weeks (length will vary across our offices) and includes full-time work experience during the university break.

With market-leading industry experience and world-class learning, a summer spent at PwC can set you up for an exciting future inside or outside our walls!

Your Future Team

In the International Tax team, you’ll find yourself in a culture that values curiosity, collaboration and critical thinking. Alongside your peers, you’ll create solutions for problems like advising on transfer pricing policies, providing tax structuring and transaction advice or helping clients meet their transfer pricing and tax compliance obligations. You'll use problem-solving, integrity and a growth mindset to make an impact across various industries. Along the way, you’ll build relationships and skills to set you up for a lifetime of success.

What will a normal day look like?

  • Support our private and public sector clients with managing their Australian transfer pricing obligations and international tax affairs
  • Build and leverage relationships to identify market opportunities
  • Bring innovative and market-leading tax technology solutions to our clients to support their tax needs

As a vacationer in International Tax, you’ll need to be studying a degree in Accounting, Finance, Law or Economics. You’ll also need to be either an AU citizen, NZ citizen, AU Permanent Resident or an international student with a work rights visa.

Anticipated start dates vary based on the cohort:

  • Cohort 1: 25 Nov 2024 - 20 Dec 2024
  • Cohort 2: 13 Jan 2025 - 7 Feb 2025
  • Cohort 3: 25 Nov 2024 - 7 Feb 2025

Your New Benefits

  • Flexible working arrangements including working from home or a different PwC Australia base office
  • More opportunities to connect with loved ones, with the ability to work up to four weeks from anywhere in Australia and select international locations
  • Health and lifestyle perks like a wellness credit and discounted memberships
  • More family time with 26 weeks of paid parental leave
  • World-class development opportunities to accelerate your career
  • Strong mentors, meaningful work and plenty of networking opportunities
