Working Hours at PwC Australia

7.5
7.5 rating for Working Hours, based on 36 reviews
How flexible is your company when it comes to hours?
Hours aren't ideal during busier times, but the working environment makes it a lot more manageable.
Graduate, Sydney - 10 Nov 2023
Very flexible which is great. They allow us to WFH very often, and we don't need to be in the office at any particular time, nor for any specific amount of time.
Graduate, Adelaide - 10 Nov 2023
work 7.5 per day
Graduate, Melbourne - 08 Nov 2023
I work 8am-4pm most days (30 minute lunch) and 1 day a week from home. Very flexible as long as you do the hours expected of you and your team no what your doing. I do get some comments and it has been noted like its a bad thing that I rarely stay back and I don't work weekends
Graduate, Perth - 08 Nov 2023
Super flexible in terms of wfh and working in the office. Also pretty good when it comes to changes in hours, starting early to finish early and vice versa.
Graduate, Melbourne - 08 Nov 2023
8:45-5:15 - flexible
Graduate, Melbourne - 08 Nov 2023
The company seems to be extremely flexible when it comes to hours as long as it is reasonable and you inform/give people the heads up/keep everyone in the loop
Graduate, Sydney - 08 Nov 2023
Work hours are pretty flexible, you are able to start earlier and then finish earlier and vice versa. Although its hard to do this when your are on a project, the team might schedule a meeting at 4-5 and you need to stay back longer to attend it.
Graduate, Canberra - 07 Nov 2023
Way better than I expected, very flexible when quiet, relatively flexible when busy
Graduate, Sydney - 07 Nov 2023
Overtime is the norm.
Graduate, Perth - 07 Nov 2023
Often have to work longer than 7.5 hours (8.5-10hrs most days)
Graduate, Sydney - 07 Nov 2023
I am pretty okay with my hours maybe because we are still graduate. But I do set boundary on that.
Graduate, Brisbane - 07 Nov 2023
I was told before I started audit that I would be doing all these long hours by others who had previously been in the industry. I do not feel that this is the case at all for me. I work 8:30 to 5 almost every day and rarely have to work overtime. I have also never felt pressured to work overtime.

Project dependent
Graduate, Sydney - 07 Nov 2023
The company itself is very flexible when it comes to hours but my team is a little less flexible.
Graduate, Perth - 07 Nov 2023
Have been able to work more in the PwC office as opposed to client office more recently which is good
Graduate, Perth - 07 Nov 2023
office once or twice a week, wfh rest of the time
Graduate, Sydney - 07 Nov 2023
Extremely flexible particular concerning I don't live near the office. Allows me to work for home primarily.
Graduate, Sydney - 07 Nov 2023
So flexible! Obviously when something is due you need to finish it, but there's no issues with ducking out for an appointment and coming back to finish off work after hours.
