Your role

As an HR Graduate, you will provide HR administrative support and do your part to create a positive candidate and employee experience. At the same time, you will develop your knowledge, skills, and experience through your exposure to day-to-day HR operations.

In this role, you will:        

  • Be the point of contact for the HR helpdesk responding to queries to HR inboxes in an accurate and timely manner and redirecting and escalating as needed.
  • Coordinate the onboarding, induction, movement, and offboarding of staff movement in, across, and out of the organisation.
  • Undertake recruitment administration including screening applications, responding to queries, candidate tracking, candidate screening and testing coordinating interviews, and keeping records and reports up to date.
  • Prepare and issue employee documentation such as employment contracts, job descriptions, and variation letters.
  • Support HR cyclical activities such as performance and remuneration reviews, learnings, and training.
  • Perform data entry and ensure employee and HR data is accurate and current and employee records are maintained.
  • Assist in the collation and analysis of information for ad-hoc and regular reporting requirements.
  • Get actively involved in and help organise employee engagement events and activities.

About you

To thrive in this role your skill set will include:

  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Psychology, or equivalent
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills and ability to interact with people at different levels of the organisation
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office 365 and able to quickly learn new systems and knowledge of HR systems (would be beneficial)
  • Able to work autonomously and in a team environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability, able to work well under pressure and willing to learn new ways of working
  • Understand the importance of and able to maintain privacy and confidentiality
