Your role

Signature Care is currently seeking Graduate Registered Nurses to join their newly developed Graduate Nurse Program at their state-of-the-art aged care residence.

They are looking for people who will strive to maintain and enhance the health and well-being of their residents while offering them dignity, safety, and independence.

Signature Care offers a supportive environment with dedicated and experienced clinical teams on-site, a graduate nurse program coordinator to guide and support you along the way and a structured 12-month graduate nurse program covering a range of comprehensive clinical and development orientation models designed to develop and support you in your first year as a graduate nurse.

About you

Skills & Requirements for the Role

To be considered for this role, ideally, they are looking for:

• Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA
• Less than 12 months of post-registration clinical experience as a Registered Nurse
• An understanding of the professional, ethical and legal requirements as a Registered Nurse
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team of like-minded care professionals
• An understanding of assessments and developing care plans 
• Ability to learn to effectively communicate complex care plan needs to incoming residents and their representatives.
• An understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards
• Demonstrated organisational and time management skills
• Demonstrated well-developed computer and documentation skills
• Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills
• Confidence in managing your time effectively, including an ability to work autonomously.
• Available to work Monday to Friday day shifts
• Must be eligible to work in Australia (International Students on Graduate Visa are welcome to apply)
