Even if we have colleagues from around the world, there is a lack of women presence in the business. Not only on the yard, even in the office or management team.

i've been overwhelmed with the support from all team members and management.

Once again as I do not have a lot of experience at Sims, I have not had the full opportunity to experience and form a full opinion on diversity, inclusion and respect. I do think that there needs to be continued effort to gain a more diverse employee base. Word of mouth is that in the past feminine presenting personnel have not been respected by men on site. I don't believe that this extends to management, it is more focused within the yard. It could be valuable to implement further training on respect and inclusivity in the workplace going forward. This is something that I hope is continually discussed :)
