Your role

As a Graduate, Automation Tester you will rotate around various projects that directly contribute towards the products they create for their customers. You will be accountable for supporting and contributing to all aspects of the delivery lifecycle - this means you will be working on real-world challenges.

Reporting to the Test Manager, in Border Management Sydney Practice, you will be a part of the Product Engineering team responsible for delivering the highest quality products to the Business within the wider SITA organization.

What will you do

  • Analysing requirements and testing software on customer-facing projects.
  • Operate in a DevOps environment contributing to all aspects of the delivery lifecycle.  
  • Write automated test cases for Continuous testing of the products.
  • Run mobile Automated test in the cloud platform.
  • Design and influence the direction of future solutions.
  • Develop an understanding of testing guidelines and best practices. 
  • Learn requirement analysis and design techniques.

About you

Who you are

  • Must have a Degree at Hons level in an IT/Engineering discipline
  • Must obtain your degree by February 2023 
  • Must have less than 12 months post-graduate experience, excluding undergraduate placement/ internship experience. 
  • Must be an Australian Citizen and eligible for Security Clearance baseline level. 
  • Experience in Java, and other scripting languages.
  • Experience in Unix and open-source development.
  • Experience creating a potential solution to a problem and attention to detail.  i.e. Design Thinking or Prototyping.
