Formal training was personally redundant for the majority of the time. This is because I already had a background in the industry so most of it I already understood. I think the formal training was comprehensive.
I have learnt a lot on the job, informally. I appreciate the willingness of staff on location to help and teach

I've been sent multiple times overseas for technical and managerial training for every new position or responsibility I had to face. The company holds training centres with full time instructors or brings 3rd party instructors to these locations, and we have a chance to be immersed in the training program for a period between 4 and 16 weeks at a time
