How flexible is your company when it comes to hours?
Seems not very flexible. Fatigue was stressed during training but mostly seems to not really.matter if you get a bit less sleep, only really matters if you get none.

my roster is 4 weeks on and 2 weeks off. I work 280 hours sometimes more if I'm on a Rig instead of 10 to 12 hours during the 4 weeks I'm on. My roster can be flexible if I'm required to go home for an emergency

Company is flexible with work from home but every management has its own expectations and so the current management is strict with working hours and expects to work outside working hours.

Depending on the function you work in, hours may be flexible or inflexible. Operations are always ongoing 24/7, and issues that require attention can arise at any time.

It was a bit challenging in the first years as I was FIFO, and the days were 12h days. After I moved to an office position, the hours and locations were more flexible. There is the option of some days WFH and others from the office. Roles that are client-facing or hands-on have limitations on WFH. Some teams are scattered around the world, so some meetings might happen in different time-zones.

Work hours vary according to the business activity. If it is busy, we are required to work more whereas when it is quiet it isn't required so it is balanced out that way
