What does an Acoustics engineer do?

  • Work primarily in the field of building and architectural acoustics 
  • Site visits and acoustic measurements in the field and lab 
  • Noise and vibration surveys
  • Acoustic modelling using software such as SoundPLAN & EASE
  • Learn how acoustics play a role in buildings including collaboration with multidisciplinary design teams including building services, structure, transport and architecture
  • Assist Senior and Project Engineers in completing projects in terms of program, profitability, technical risk management and overall Client satisfaction

What does a Fire engineer do?

  • Assess the threat of fires and determine how to improve structures to ensure building occupants can occupy and evacuate the building safely
  • Physics, mathematics, and computer modelling are skills you would develop
  • Exposure to the use of different building materials, structures and buildings, fire systems, human behaviour and safety, and the prevention, detection and suppression of fire
  • Assist Senior and Project Engineers in completing projects in terms of program, profitability, technical risk management and overall Client satisfaction

What does a Hydraulics engineer do?

  • Hydraulic engineering within the building services is all about designing pipes, hot and cold clean water supply systems, drainage, rainwater collection, waste disposal, sewer system, wastewater treatment, and efficient usage of plumbing systems
  • Assisting in delivering hydraulic services design documentation
  • Responding to requests for information on specific projects
  • Assisting Senior and Project Engineers in completing projects in terms of program, profitability, technical risk management and overall Client satisfaction

What do you need? 

You'll need an Engineering degree in disciplines such as Mechanical, Structural, Civil, Chemical, Science, Mechatronics, Audio, and Fire; and show us your passion! We want to know who you are as a person, your attributes and what makes you tick.

These full-time positions would suit students currently completing the final year of their degree or recent graduates with 1-2 years of experience
