Work hours are ok. 8:30-5 but not strict. Could start and finish earlier or later and depending on amount of work could work more or less hours in a week.

I feel neutral towards this question, while working 40 hours a week is a big week, I am used to it now and know no different.
I have a heavier field load and would ultimately like to have more compensated R&R when returning from a long field trip as TIL or taking leave days does not necessarily encourage people to take the necessary rest that they would require because it in theory costs them money or leave time.

Senior staff members are judgmental to anyone who leaves at 5pm. Junior staff leave at 5pm anyway and set boundaries even if it's not taken well. Work from home is flexible but changing hours during 9-5 is not that flexible (eg if I wanted to work 7-3)

My work is 40 hours, and Stantec is flexible about my start and end times, as well as working from home or working in the office. Working in the office is generally encouraged, as is working within the standard 8-5 office hours, however, where utilization is not an issue, they are flexible about both.

Flexible working hours available, have made arrangements to make up hours on alternative days to clock of early on others due to commitments.
Total 40 hour week (not 37.5hr) which is a bit of a down side, any lunch break taken will need to be made up later to satisfy 8 hour work day.
