Career progression

Two initiatives TasNetworks has introduced to achieve their aim are Career Pathways and Multi-skilling. The Career Pathways aims to create clear pathways for team members to progress from apprentices through to technical leaders, team leaders and advisory positions with supporting competency-based training, secondment opportunities, on-the-job learning and assessment. The Multi-skilling aspires to create a field workforce capable of completing a majority of electrical network activities.

Work-life balance

As TasNetworks gives importance to work-life balance, they have a formalized policy related to flexible working arrangements in place. They also offer paid holiday, vacation or annual leave, as well as personal sick leave.

Company culture

At TasNetworks, the emphasis is on prioritizing customers, prioritizing safety, unity in overcoming challenges, and embracing diversity and forward thinking. The company is dedicated to enhancing customer experiences, ensuring safety, fostering trusting relationships, and enabling its staff to provide value.
