Your role

As a Mechanical Engineer Graduate, you will work within multiple collaborative teams to develop technical expertise across the TasNetworks distribution and transmission networks.  You will learn about the electrical network industry (NER) by working on a variety of exciting projects contributing to leading renewable energy initiatives in Tasmania.  As a graduate, you will get the amazing opportunity to move around the business on a regular basis to ensure you gain exposure and diverse experience.

Career progression

Two initiatives TasNetworks has introduced to achieve their aim are Career Pathways and Multi-skilling. About you

To be successful in this role and to become part of the graduate program you will need to have a tertiary qualification in engineering (having graduated or graduating in 2022-2024) and a current driver's license. The ability to self-motivate and manage your own performance as well as being able to build effective partnerships across the business to ensure the best solutions and results are achieved.
