Initial onboarding and training was a bit light, with a fair amount of down time with not much to do in the initial weeks.

On the job training has taught me all my skills that i perform in my day to day. This has been through being assigned jobs where i need to learn new skills, and then asking an expert as I learn the skill. Formal trainings have filled gaps in my knowledge, including welding training and flange training.

I was supposed to do a training course for the software I use for my job but it was cancelled multiple times so I've never actually had formal training. Only informal and on the job training. I would have liked to have a but more formal training.

On the job training is the best teacher which I had to undergo. I did not end up having any external training within the 2 year grad program although managers have suggested to do something about this. Did iLearn a lot in the beginning of the job, as this is online, I lack of motivation in doing it and did not learn much from it.
