About The Advice Stand

Your role

As a Consultant Intern working closely with our Managing Director, you will be actively involved in various responsibilities related to business analysis, data analysis, project management, and change management. Your role is instrumental in assisting with the development and delivery of both client and internal solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business & Data Analysis: Assist in the analysis and documentation of the client’s business processes and problems, as well as the data available from the client’s systems. Must be good with people and able to digest and summarise large volumes of information.
  • Project Management: Support the Managing Director with PM activities, and learn how to manage smaller, discrete pieces of work.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, effectively communicate insights, and support ad hoc analysis requests.
  • Work on internal projects and research tasks.
  • Performing other ad hoc tasks as required.

About you

This is what The Advice Stand is looking for in this role:

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g. IT, Commerce, Engineering, etc)
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical/problem-solving skills
  • Be keen to learn and committed to the job
  • Have the ability to acquire new knowledge and skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools such as PowerBI is a bonus
  • Knowledge of project management software is a bonus
  • Social media & website development experience is a bonus
  • Demonstrate ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
