Mornings typically see me: Go through with the team the agenda for the day. Check email communications both from head office and Priceline as well as any reps or other healthcare professionals for any upcoming tasks.

What's your background?

I grew up in Brisbane and completed all my education here. Raised in an Asian household – working hard was the only option. Some of the key principles that have stuck with me from growing up include:

"Always strive for the best"

"Challenge yourself wherever possible"

"Do not compare yourself with others because everyone is unique and different but compete with yourself”.

"Discipline is your friend"

I started as a newly registered pharmacist at Park Ridge in 2016 and my role changed quickly as Jay, my preceptor and one of the company directors, believed that I was I am ready to take on more responsibilities. I have been here for 5 years now and have loved every moment of it.

Could someone with a different background do your job?

Someone with a different background can definitely do my job. As long as you bring the following: Discipline, the ability to multitask, patience, care, and a love for challenges. Other essential attributes are the ability to relate to people, strong problem-solving skills, and good business acumen.

What's the coolest thing about your job?

I like my job because there is no limit to what I can achieve. The Infinity Group leadership team allow me to spread my wings, take risks and always support me.

My role is full-on! Park Ridge does not slow down. Here is when I know I am on the right track:

  1. My patients walk away with a smile.
  2. Jay, my mentor, gives me a thumbs up and tells me he is confident in my ability to look after the business.

What are the challenges of your job?

The job of a pharmacist is quite demanding and comes with a lot of responsibilities.

Trading hours can be long, and rosters include working over weekends.
