What projects/initiatives does your employer run and what have you worked on personally?
Sustainability is prominent

Not overtly discussed, but a lot of staff demonstrate CSR behaviour.

There is a general commitment to 'sustainability' but it is not pioneering. Things like cycling to work are encouraged through some channels, but uptake is not broad.
Graduate, Melbourne - 31 Oct 2017
There's a sustainability charter in place and a team that encourages others to take part in sustainable activities. New buildings are created with sustainability in mind. It's possible to take leave for voluntary purposes.

I think universities are renowned for this type of work. There would be more events/projects/initiatives at the University than I would even know about but they have a strong commitment to sustainability with the sustainability charter outlining the university's goals for various areas of sustainability such as environment, culture, research and so on. The University also has various philanthropic pursuits being run year-round; one of which I was involved was R U OK Day, where I organised an event to talk about mental health and promote how to support others in the workplace. I also was a part of data collection and analysis for the Athena SWAN charter, which is an accreditation the University is seeking to establish a commitment towards addressing gender disparity in senior leadership roles.
