The University appears heavily committed to this area with ongoing efforts to reduce natural resource consumption and invest in renewable energy.

I'm not a huge expert on this area but we do have a sustainability office, and there is also the sustainability charter that I spoke about in an earlier section. The University also encourages staff to take public transport or ride to work (which most do), it encourages staff to use "keep cups" over disposable coffee cups, and they have competitions with prizes for teams who have the lowest carbon footprint/waste/etc.

The sustainability charter is in place to set the direction in this area. It can be difficult to manage this on such a wide-scale, but there are good intentions to do so.

Solar panels being placed on all roofs. Energy star rated buildings. New sustainability program (voluntary sign-up) introduced this year across the company, educating staff on how to easily be sustainable.
