My Manager is an awesome construction manager as he is approachable, reasonable and very knowledgeable and willing to teach anything and is a good teacher and very patient. There is a great element of teamwork within the workplace and socialising is a great aspect of our office and site employees with many inclusive events for everyone.
The culture at Winslow is amazing, everyone is friendly and theres always an event on which is great to catch up with work mates after work hours.
The structure and hierarchy spans from laborers and subcontractors at the bottom, followed by machine operators, leading hands, foremen, site engineers, project engineers, project managers, operations managers, regional managers, and area managers at the top. Depending on who I work with for the day, I've found most of them to be highly cooperative and approachable. They don't hesitate to express their thoughts and offer constructive feedback when I make mistakes or need improvement.
Culture within the office is very friendly and collaborative, its is very easy to work with everyone, overall a positive experience.
The culture in the office is 10/10 - we really are a big family, and we have fun in what we do every day. We all support each other, and this carries outside of work as well. I have built so many great friendships and we are all happy to hang out together outside of work.
