Your role

As an E&P intern at Urbis, you won't be a passive observer – you'll actively contribute to complex and meaningful projects that shape the urban landscape. Working with the accomplished team at Urbis, you'll gain invaluable insights and make a tangible impact on real-world initiatives. The student roles provide the flexibility of working 2 - 4 days per week, allowing you to seamlessly integrate your internship with your studies.

The Economics & Property (E&P) team at Urbis is a dynamic group that provides comprehensive economic and property consulting services across Australia. They offer strategic advice to a diverse range of clients, covering all property sectors and stages of the property lifecycle. Their services include market research, feasibility studies, strategic planning, valuation, and project management. With a deep understanding of market trends and property dynamics, the E&P team plays a crucial role in shaping the future of Australia's urban landscape.

As an intern in the Economics & Property team, you will:

  • Get exposure to a diverse range of clients and projects
  • Support the team in producing market-leading property data and reports for clients
  • Collate and analyse data for your designated property sector
  • Gain comprehensive knowledge of the Economics and Property lifecycle through hands-on involvement in real-life projects
  • Present and communicate your research findings and insights on trends in the property industry
  • Get the opportunity to work across multi-disciplinary projects with Urbis' other service areas (e.g. Planning, Urban Design)
  • Assist in responding to internal and external client requests

The year-long Student Internship Program, running from February to December 2025, will enable you to graduate with the distinct advantage of industry experience over your peers

About you

Qualifications

  • This program will be suitable for those who will be undertaking a degree in Commerce, Property, Economics or a related discipline in data analysis.
  • Passionate, hardworking and a great fit for our spirited, collaborative culture at Urbis
  • Can communicate with confidence and in a responsive manner, both written and verbally
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Proven skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Please Note: you must have valid working rights in Australia and be studying throughout the internship to be eligible for the program.
