Your role

As an intern at Urbis, you won't be a passive observer – you'll actively contribute to complex and meaningful projects that shape the urban landscape. Working with the accomplished team at Urbis, you'll gain invaluable insights and make a tangible impact on real-world initiatives. The student roles provide the flexibility of working 2 - 4 days per week, allowing you to integrate your internship with your studies seamlessly.

The Urbis Brand and Clients team consists of strategic professionals focused on elevating Urbis' brand identity and cultivating strong client relationships throughout Australia.  Their services encompass brand management, client relationship management, marketing strategy development, and communications.  They play a critical role in positioning Urbis as a leader in urban development and guaranteeing client satisfaction.  By leveraging their in-depth knowledge of market trends, client needs, and communication strategies, the team assists Urbis in navigating the competitive landscape, attracting and retaining clients, and establishing a robust and well-regarded brand.

As an intern in their Business Development team, you will:

• Work closely with the Business Development (BD) team to execute strategic BD initiatives and projects
• Conduct market research, analyse data, and market trends and contribute to the development of client and market growth strategies
• Provide insights and analysis on target markets, clients and industries to support business development strategies
• Manage core business development infrastructure including tender toolkit updates, development of capability statements and project sheets
• Assist in client and opportunity reporting
• Assist in building and maintaining relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders
• Play a key role in the analysis and reporting of client listening insights
• Support client events and partnerships

The year-long Student Internship Program, running from February to December 2025, will enable you to graduate with the distinct advantage of industry experience over your peers

• Proven skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Please Note: you must have valid working rights in Australia and be studying throughout the internship to be eligible for the program.
