Your role

As an intern at Urbis, you won't be a passive observer – you'll actively contribute to complex and meaningful projects that shape the urban landscape. Working with the accomplished team at Urbis, you'll gain invaluable insights and make a tangible impact on real-world initiatives. The student roles provide the flexibility of working 2 - 4 days per week, allowing you to integrate your internship with your studies seamlessly.

As an intern in their Finance team, you will:

  • Assist the Finance team with accounting duties, gaining practical experience in various financial processes and practices
  • Provide support to the Finance Manager and the Financial Accounting & Control team, while assisting the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams, gaining exposure to different aspects of financial operations
  • Demonstrate a high attention to detail and efficiency in accurately entering data, ensuring the integrity of financial records and reports
  • Assist in conducting variance analysis, identifying and highlighting key variations to budget

The year-long Student Internship Program, running from February to December 2025, will enable you to graduate with the distinct advantage of industry experience over your peers

  • This program will be suitable for those who will be undertaking tertiary studies in a relevant field in 2025

  • Can communicate with confidence and in a responsive manner, both written and verbally
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Proven skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Please Note: you must have valid working rights in Australia and be studying throughout the internship to be eligible for the program.
