Let's be honest, who wouldn't want to be at the forefront of the Microsoft ecosystem? Velrada offered that, plus a chance to create, not just use, the cool stuff. Plus, who could resist the charm of a company that combines innovation with a genuine sense of community?
The first year was a whirlwind of learning. One day I'm conquering a coding challenge, the next I'm presenting to a room full of experts (gulp!) not just once but thrice. But the most rewarding part? The amazing people I met. Velrada fosters a collaborative environment, so you're never alone.
3 pieces of advice for yourself when you were a student...
If I could go back in time, I'd tell myself to relax and soak it all in. Don't be afraid to ask questions (no matter how silly you think they are) and take advantage of all the learning opportunities Velrada throws your way.
For future grads: Be curious, be bold, and don't be afraid to step outside your comfort zone. Velrada will challenge you, but they'll also support you every step of the way.
