It is a typical 9-5, but at the very least my team is very flexible with hours and very understanding of situations that can arise. They are happy for people to work short hours at times or work extra days at home.

I have worked within 3 different contracts at my company, and each has been okay with me being flexible with my start and finish hours. As long as I do my 8 hours a day, I am able to start at whichever time that best suits me. This is ideal for somebody who has after work commitments.
