The opportunity

This amazing graduate opportunity in our Commercial (B2B) business is where you will gain a broad range of commercial skills and experience. Viva Energy’s Commercial business is diverse, servicing customers in distinct divisions, including; Transport, Mining, Marine, Aviation, Lubricants, Chemicals and Polymers. Each Commercial business unit is unique, with varying supply chains, products and pricing, and the Commercial Graduate position offers the opportunity to gain invaluable experience in B2B through exposure to these key businesses. Your responsibilities and development opportunities will include:

  • Analysis & insights for commercial optimization, including pricing, freight, foreign exchange
  • Tender bid and offer document development
  • Developing customer-centric operational and supply chain solutions
  • Broad exposure across Viva Energy, working closely with Logistics, Supply, Pricing, Customer Solutions, Legal, Finance to deliver exceptional customer outcomes
  • Sales skills and customer account management – office based and face-to-face
  • Developing customer continuous improvement initiatives 
  • Presentation development & execution 
  • Marketing campaign & events support 
  • New energies opportunities, such as hydrogen, EV, carbon offsetting, biofuels
  • Gaining knowledge of the different Commercial Businesses including Transport, Marine, Aviation, Resources, Bitumen, Lubricants, Chemicals and Polymers

  • Full time ongoing permanent position
  • A minimum of two rotations that will provide you with the opportunity to develop your knowledge, experience and technical competencies

  • Australian or New Zealand citizen or hold permanent residency
  • Completed an undergraduate or post-graduate degree in the required discipline (within the past 2 years) prior to commencing the program
