The Opportunity:

We have an exciting opportunity for a recent or soon to be Graduate to join our Research & Development Tax Incentive division. 

This is an exciting area where you will have the opportunity to work  with some  of Australiaโ€™s leading entrepreneurs at the forefront of innovation and digital disruption in areas of Software-as-a-Service, Machine Learning/AI, Internet-of-Things, data, mobile applications and robotics.

What youโ€™ll be involved in day to day:

You will be joining a small, dynamic and collaborative team and you will be an imperative team member with lots of โ€˜hands onโ€™ experience and broad exposure to all things R&D, including:

  • Face to face (virtual at the moment) meetings with key project personnel and tech CEOs to discuss cutting edge technical innovation in fintech, agtech, medtech, cloud, apps, blockchain, advanced manufacturing and big data
  • Evaluating R&D projects and identifying eligible core and supporting R&D activities
  • Preparing R&D project plans, AusIndustry applications and other supporting documents
  • Calculating eligible R&D expenditure and preparing R&D tax incentive schedules for inclusion in company tax returns.
  • Preparing materials for internal and external training sessions.

This role will suit someone who is enthusiastic, driven and excited to start their career:

  • Has completed/near completed their degree in Science, Engineering or Accounting
  • Has great communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Is a team player with strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Is looking to join a business with proven career progression pathways.
