Direct managers in my direct team are all excellent. Very approachable and happy to help, offer advice and see you grow. Managers on a specific project are also happy to answer questions, however seem typically less experienced working with a graduate and understand the needs of someone at entry level as opposed to someone with more experience.

Being able to work directly with the director on projects allows me to feel comfortable that I am doing valuable work as I'm helping the most senior member in the team. My manager has always been available to chat and answer any questions and I've never felt like there is something I couldn't talk to him about.

Very accessible but not very helpful. Focus is on winning more work, rather than understanding what employees do and giving recognition for that. They seem quite fake and empathise only when it is in their best interest.

Managers are great, although being in different offices means a lot of video calls rather than face to face meetings which isnt ideal. Communication, performance feedback and praise/recognition is great.
