Only a year of so, but already seconded out, appreciated the opportunity - see if it is recognised.

From the start my managers were open about the fact that there would be no barriers to promotions (length of time at company, education) and exemplifying good hard work would be rewarded. I have seen this play out in the team already.

There are lots of opportunities at WTW, and if I put in the work and get good results I believe I can get to anywhere I want.
Graduate, Perth - 25 Mar 2022
Few career growth opportunities. Most management positions are filled by males.

As a grad of 1 year, I am still very early on in my career progression. The first soft jump comes in a move from being restricted to just completing the initial work to also reviewing and ticking off on work. In terms of role promotions, the first jump is becoming a Consultant (conditional on your completion of the part 3 exams at the Actuaries Institute), and the next is becoming a Director and working far more directly with the trustee/client (this comes with additional responsibilities as expected).

Natural progression from analyst to consultant if that is the path you want to take
Graduate, Sydney - 25 Feb 2022
Progression comes down to exam passes with the actuaries institute and demonstration of aptitude from experience working on jobs. Exam passes provide direct compensation through salary increases, while progression in responsibilities often relies on the movement of those more senior to you to open up opportunities. There is not so much of a defined progression path year-on-year.

Know the roles that you progress through - a little unclear through performance management just what qualifies you for promotion.
